Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: Metal products manufacturing company. Tasks: Operate gluing machines to glue pieces or wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces. Operate preset special purpose woodworking machines to fabricate wood products. Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions. Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials. Remove metal pieces from furnace when colour or metal indicates proper forging temperature. Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products. Load and unload vehicle. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Flexibility. Team player. Dependability. Reliability.
