Job details
Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort. Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse. Serve meal trays and feed patients. Weigh, lift, turn and position patients. Make beds and maintain patients' rooms. Bathe, dress and groom patients. Answer call signals to determine patients' needs. Provide personal care. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Feed or assist in feeding. Administer medications. Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Personal Support Worker Certificate. Target audience: Elderly. Security and safety: Immunization records. Vulnerable sector check. Tuberculosis test. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Client focus. Excellent oral communication.
