Job details
As the Payroll Administrator, you are responsible for full cycle payroll including time and attendance approval.
*Essential Functions*
* Responsible for full cycle bi-weekly payroll for salary and hourly (270 employees)
* Review time and attendance using ADP Workforce Now
* Working knowledge of ADP Work Force Now software or Ceridian
* Track vacation, sick and lieu days for all employees
* Prepare labour costs reports and payroll reports
* Approve agency timesheets and invoices
* Administer benefit plan with Canada Life and pension plan
* Assist in new hire, on boarding, orientation and termination
* Perform all other payroll and some HR functions and other duties as assigned
*Health and Safety*
· Conduct all Job Tasks in a Safe and Responsible manner.
· Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting / handling procedures
· Participate in all Health and Safety, GMP and HACCP training as required.
· Participate in the JHSC
· Report any accidents, incidents and unsafe/hazardous conditions to your leadhand/supervisor.
* Ensure you comply with OHSA, WSIB, MOL regulations and/or laws that govern ?workers? responsibilities in the workplace (covered during orientation ? section 28 of the OHSA i.e. ?Green Book?) and Comply with Tradition Fine Foods Ltd. Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices, and HACCP Programs

Job Qualifications
· Post-secondary education
· Minimum 3 years? experience in full cycle payroll, preferably in ADP WFN
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to exercise sound judgment, tact and discretion when dealing with others
· Strong analytical abilities coupled with effective problem solving and decision-making skills
· Strong excel skills
· Effective organizational and time management skills, multi-tasking and ability to prioritize work
· PCP/CPM or pursuing payroll designation
Job Type: Full-time
