We are looking for a Mechanical Technologist who is a member of ASET. The Mechanical Technologist is a professional who exercise independent judgment to perform technical tasks and solve problems in complex technological areas with occasional direct supervision. A Mechanical Engineering Technologist operates various mechanical tools and equipment to perform tasks efficiently, requiring strict adherence to the safety protocols and regulations within the operational premises. Reports to Services/Project Managers. They need to travel to different sites and work consolidated work week.
*Responsibilities:*
? Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electronic equipment.
? Assisting the mechanical engineer with mechanical design and maintenance tasks.
? Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems.
? Implementing mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.
? Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.
? Documenting processes and maintaining mechanical service records.
? Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
? Optimizing mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.
? Training co-workers on the safe and efficient use of mechanical machinery and equipment.
? Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.
? Customer Asset Management
? Create JSA
? Will be visiting clients, local and out station
*Required Qualifications:*
? Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
? Two-year Associates degree in mechanical engineering technology or related field
? Member of ASET
? Lead the team and manage issues
? Proficiency in mechanical design and diagnostic testing software.
? Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
? Proficient in using I-Pad and other devices
? Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
? Good knowledge of hand tools and power tools
? Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
? Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
? Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
? Willing to travel and work in fields at various client locations
? Should be physically active and fit for work
? Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
? Great organizational and time management abilities.
? Willingness to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs outside of business hours.
? Willingness to work on consolidated work week.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $230.00-$250.00 per day
