<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>Job Summary</strong><br />Responsible for service, repair and maintenance on all types of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment, tools and automation to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Working in both in shop and in the field performing all aspects of services and repairs from regular scheduled maintenance to hydraulic and electrical repairs and undercarriages</li><li>Efficiently and effectively evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, <span class="long-word">assemble/disassemble,</span> order parts for, and repair heavy duty equipment / attachment products</li><li>Weld and fabricate parts, including top mounts, as needed.</li><li>Use related instruments, hand and power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systems</li><li>Review technical diagrams, advise customers about technical issues, test vehicles, use diagnostic equipment and replace faulty parts.</li><li>Needs to work on demolition robots</li><li>Use parts catalogues to locate parts, and order parts from parts personnel</li><li>Perform PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) on equipment to ensure it's ready for operation.</li><li>Provide preventive maintenance services on its hydraulic system, electrical systems, changing and checking tires, brakes and changing the oil for in-house equipment.</li><li>Make sure a safe and clean workplace is present at all times.</li><li>Traveling: Must be willing and able to travel to required geographical areas to perform fieldwork and service equipment based on customers' needs. The length and amount may be varied, that includes staying overnight locally if need be.</li><li>Other duties as required.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience as a Mechanic with 5+ years in repairing large construction-type equipment.</li><li>Must have experience with attachments, breakers, and excavators.</li><li>Strong welding skills for fabrication and repair tasks</li></ul><p><strong>Education Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in the field of Math and Science, or a valid Heavy Equipment Mechanic's License, or Journeyman certification as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.</li></ul><p><strong>License requirements</strong></p><ul><li>A valid G license is mandatory</li><li>Red Seal certification (or similar certification) is an asset.</li></ul><p>We are committed to providing an accessible environment and welcome applications from individuals with disabilities.
