\*\*Position Overview: \*\*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) to join our team. The CVT will be responsible for performing a variety of cardiovascular diagnostic tests and procedures to assist healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating cardiac and vascular conditions. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely results.
\*\*Key Responsibilities: \*\*
- Conduct non-invasive cardiovascular tests such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), stress tests, and Holter monitoring.
- Prepare and position patients for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain cardiovascular testing equipment, ensuring accurate and high-quality diagnostic results.
- Analyze test results and collaborate with healthcare providers to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions.
- Educate patients about the procedures, answering their questions and addressing concerns.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Stay updated with advances in cardiovascular technology and techniques through continuous education and training.
\*\*Qualifications: \*\*
- Diploma or degree in Cardiovascular Technology from a recognized institution.
- Certification with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT) as a Certified Cardiology Technologist (CCT).
- Current registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT) or equivalent regulatory body.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist.
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in producing high-quality diagnostic results.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Expected hours: 20 ? 40 per week
