Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Urban area. Rural area. Remote location. Various locations. Theatre company. Stage company. Festival. Warehouse. Tasks: Supervise staff. Set up, operate and make repairs to light and other electrical equipment. Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.). Repair and maintain equipment. Project management. Operate forklift. Order parts and maintain inventory. Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment. Document work completed. Maintain log books that detail all repairs and checks performed. Store, update and maintain databases. Administer first aid in emergency situations. Repair electronic equipment . Coordinate subcontractors activities . Design methods: Drafting. Type of product: Truck. Computer and technology knowledge: Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. Type of production art: Visual effects. Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Exhibit preparation experience: Lighting. Equipment, eystems and controls experience: Lighting system.
