Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation . Operate heavy equipment. Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment. Perform minor repairs to equipment. Type of heavy equipment operated: Backhoe excavator, loader. Area of work experience: Demolition. Excavation. Land clearing. Type of industry experience: Industrial/commercial/institutional (ICI) construction. Security and safety: Bondable. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Overtime required. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat.
