*Position Description *
Under the direction of the Front Office Manager, as the Night Auditor, you are responsible for processing and closing out the day?s transactions and postings, providing proper reports once completed. You are the main contact of the hotel overnight, and represent the hotel when on duty, which includes completing all tasks of a Guest Services Agent as this is also a guest-facing role. You will do your utmost to deliver exceptional guest service satisfaction through ensuring all policies and procedures of the hotel are followed.
*Requirements*
You will demonstrate the ability to meet the mental and physical requirements of the position. You agree that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will demonstrate the ability to work within a team environment and have the ability to complete all assigned tasks with little to no supervision.
*Responsibilities*
As Night Auditor, you will be responsible for processing the daily transactions of the hotel. You are responsible for all other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Balancing daily hotel receipts
- Posting revenues and preparing revenue reports
- Processing guest accounts
- Handling a cash float
- Completing reports & specific duties assigned by the Front Office Manager in a timely and accurate manner
- Providing excellent customer service as per hotel standards by responding promptly to all guest requests
- Ensure thorough knowledge of all internal and Homewood Suites programs and promotions, Honors, selling strategies and special rates
- Checking guests in and out of hotel
- Following all SRPs, promotions, extended stay rates, tax exemptions, market segments, OnQ postings, Honors procedures and rate structures
- Completing necessary paperwork for front desk operations (Converge, Third Party authorization forms, credit card authorizations, cash reports, down-time reports, etc.)
- Ensure guest and property security policies are being followed
- Properly use and care for all equipment and tools used to perform duties
- Follow all job safety policies and report any accidents and/or hazards
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 8 ? 24 per week
