Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders. Diagnose psychiatric disorders. May conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive or curative methods. Prescribe medication and treatment . Refer patients for surgery. Treat psychiatric disorders. Conduct microscopic and chemical analyses of laboratory samples and specimens. Prepare research papers for publication and presentation. Study the nature, cause and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases. Supervise laboratory activities. Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures. Specialization in clinical medicine: Radiation oncology. Security and safety: Criminal record check.
