Roadtrek Inc. is currently recruiting for a *Shipper/Receiver* to join their logistics team. The Logistics Department team member will be responsible for overseeing shipping and receiving activities in the warehouse This role involves operating various types of forklifts, managing the intake and dispatch of materials, and ensuring proper storage and organization of parts. Attention to detail is vital for handling shipments and verifying documentation, particularly with shipping systems like FedEx and customs processes. The goal is to maintain smooth warehouse operations by ensuring accurate, timely and organized movement of materials. Keys accountabilities for Shipper Receiver may vary depending on the tasks involved.
Hours are Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
*Key Responsibilities/Specific Duties*
* Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all documentation (e.g., shipping labels, invoices) is correct.
* Work with FedEx systems to arrange shipments and handle customs paperwork where applicable.
* Safely operate Raymond reach lift, aisle master, and counterbalance forklifts to load and unload trucks and move items within the warehouse.
* Organize materials and parts in the warehouse, ensuring proper put-away procedures to maintain inventory accuracy.
* Identify and resolve issues related to damaged or misplaced items.
* Ensure accurate records of materials received and shipped are maintained.
* Collaborate with other warehouse staff to maintain a well-organized storage area.
* Follow safety procedures for material handling, warehouse equipment, and forklift operations.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, shipping regulations, and customs requirements.
* Work with the logistics and production teams to ensure timely material availability and smooth operations.
* Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and other departments to streamline shipping and receiving processes.
*Knowledge, Skills, and Experience*
* Secondary School Graduate or equivalent
* Lift Truck License
* Experienced with inventory control, warehouse, receiving and shipping and FedEx system
* Ability to lift, carry, push and pull product weighing up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to work well under pressure while keeping safety a priority at all times
* Strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, strong work ethic and positive team player
* Proactive and well-organized person
* Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures within a manufacturing environment
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills to interact with colleagues and external suppliers.
