Exhibit Control Officer1 Year Term Come join our Police Services team to support the RCMP in maintaining a safe community for our citizens and be a part of fostering a healthy workplace for our Police Services staff. We are looking for an Exhibit Control Officer who will be responsible for the security and safekeeping of all property seized by or surrendered to the RCMP. You will be accountable to the Criminal Justice System and the RCMP with respect to maintaining evidentiary continuity and the lawful disposal of seized articles. You have a Law enforcement background and/or 3-5 years experience in a policing environment. You possess a sound knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada, Federal and Provincial Statues, RCMP policy and directives, PRIME (Police Records Information Management Environment), Police Information Retrieval System (PIRS), Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) and Evidence Manager. You have completed the Canada Firearms Safety Course (non-restricted and restricted) or are prepared to successfully complete. You will be required to successfully complete the Canada Firearms Centre Public Appointment and you must be able to obtain and maintain a RCMP security clearance.
