Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Tasks: Inspect electrical and avionics systems. Install aircraft instruments. Ensure that the installation, maintenance, repair and overhaul of systems meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety. Repair and overhaul, modify, install and test aircraft electrical systems and equipment. Test electrical, electronic and instrument components. Troubleshoot communications, navigation, and autoflight equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, install and inspect aircraft systems and components. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Licence (AME) - E. Aircraft experience: Small turbine helicopter. Medium turbine helicopter. Type of industry experience: Commercial air carrier. Corporate aviation. General aviation. Military aviation. Repair and overhaul facility. Training organizations. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment.
