Education: Earned doctorate degree. Work setting: Hospital or clinical pharmacy. Tasks: Advise customers on indications, contraindications, adverse effects, drug interactions and dosage. Advise customers on selection and use of non-prescription medication. Check prescriptions for proper dosage. Manage the storage, packaging and distribution of medicinal products . Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of other pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, pharmacy technicians and other staff. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Pharmacy Examining Boards of Canada Certification. Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities. Experience: Experience an asset.
