Job Title: Office Administrator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to join our Construction based team. The Office Administrator will be responsible for overseeing daily office operations, managing administrative tasks, and supporting various departments within the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong clerical skills, experience in team management, and proficiency in tools for payroll and budgeting. If you are a proactive individual with a knack for multitasking and problem-solving, we want to hear from you.
Tasks
* Implement new administrative procedures
* Review and evaluate new administrative procedures
* Delegate work to office support staff
* Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
* Carry out administrative activities of establishment
* Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
* Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
* Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
* Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
* Perform data entry
* Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
* Resolve conflict situations
* Monitor and evaluate
* Oversee payroll administration
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in an administrative role
- Strong proficiency in ADP for payroll processing
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Experience in supervising teams or leading projects
- Knowledge of human resources processes is a plus
- Strong communication skills for interacting with vendors, staff, and management
