<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>Term of contract: 1 year</strong></p><p><strong>Work schedule: 35 hours per week </strong></p><p><strong>Work Mode: 100% onsite </strong></p><p><strong>Language: French</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong> JOB DESCRIPTION</strong></p><p>We are looking for a network specialist for one of our clients to join the technology sector. The selected person will join a networking team working on the wireless and wired network modernization project.</p><p>This project requires the installation of approximately 5,000 new next-generation wireless access points, the complete change of network equipment in the 170 telecommunications rooms spread across 34 buildings, the implementation of a new network management model, etc. The new network is scheduled to be commissioned by 2025.</p><p>The selected person will participate in the preparation of equipment, the deployment of the new wireless and wired network, and post-deployment activities. During the deployment phases in the pavilions, the person may be required to work outside normal hours, such as early in the morning, evening, or weekends.</p><p><strong>PRE-DEPLOYMENT</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare equipment (unbox, install cards, inventory, etc.);</li><li>Connect equipment for initial configuration;</li><li>Validate initial equipment configurations;</li><li>Identify problematic equipment, inventory it, manage returns;</li><li>Participate in wall mitigation measures for Wi-Fi preparation;</li><li>Contribute to the validation and consolidation of existing activations;</li><li>Assist other team members when setting up new network or access control configurations.</li></ul><p><strong>DEPLOYMENT</strong></p><ul><li>Participate in network cable connections;</li><li>Validation of the list of new Aruba terminals;</li><li>Identify new terminals with problems;</li><li>Participate in wireless operating tests;</li><li>Participate in wired operating tests.</li></ul><p><strong>POST-DEPLOYMENT</strong></p><ul><li>Carry out surveys to validate actual coverage in the pavilions;</li><li>Participate in the flying team to troubleshoot:</li></ul><ul><li>List problems;</li><li>Prioritize;</li><li>Document cases;</li><li>Resolve wireless and wired connection cases;</li></ul><ul><li>Help units configure their equipment;</li><li>Document new features;</li><li>Participate in training service center users;</li><li>Present new features/problem <span class="long-word">cases/configurations</span> to the rest of the team following a deployment.</li></ul><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul><li>Have significant experience in configuring and deploying Aruba equipment;</li><li>Have an undergraduate university degree (bachelor's degree) in computer science or a related discipline or equivalent experience;</li><li>Have ten (10) years of experience in the field of networking (switching; routing, network access control);</li><li>Have, in one (1) mandate, carried out massive deployments of network equipment in a complex environment;</li><li>Demonstrate a sense of advanced customer service.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>DESCRIPTION DU POSTE</strong></p><p>Nous sommes à la recherche pour un de nos clients d'un spécialiste réseau pour joindre le secteur technologique.
