Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Tasks: Direct planting of trees, gardens and lawns. Hire, supervise and schedule staff. Organize planting of trees, gardens and lawns. Schedule work. Plan and direct grounds maintenance. Plan and estimate labour and materials. Read blueprints and drawings. Supervision: 3-4 people. Equipment and machinery experience: Chain saw. Small engine equipment. Sod cutter. Tractor mower. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Health benefits: Dental plan. Health care plan. Support for newcomers and refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees. Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.).
