People like you!We are actively seeking experienced contract Fine Arts (Piano) Instructors to teach from September - June 2025. This position is responsible for teaching private, semi-private and group piano lessons at Edmonds Community Centre. Duties include creating lesson plans tailored to each student?s individual learning, delivering lessons to children, teens, and adults, as well as attending relevant recitals and training sessions. The City will provide the pianos or keyboards, but the contract Fine Arts Instructors must have their own teaching aids.Qualifications include a minimum of a Grade 10 Royal Conservatory of Music certification, or a Bachelor?s Degree in Music with a specialty in piano performance and a minimum of Harmony 3 theory co-requisites. Successful candidates must have CPR C or be willing to obtain certification prior to the start of the program. Completion of an A.R.C.T - Performance certificate is an asset.Pay Rate: $39.00-$43.00/hourLocation: Edmonds Community CentreSchedule: Sundays from 9:30am - 4:30pm.
