Location: Victoria, BCEmployment Type: Regular Full Time Union: MOVEUP Monthly Salary Range: MoveUp Group 09, MIN $5,902.00 - MAX $7,089.00 is available through annual general wage/step increases.Recruitment Range: MIN $5,902 - STEP 3 $6,559.Placement in the salary range is determined by an assessment of knowledge, skills, experience and ability of the candidate to meet the key requirements of the job. In exceptional cases, candidates may be hired above the recruitment range, provided agreement is reached with the Union. Keep reading to find out if this role is meant for you!What you'll be doing...An eligibility list may be established for future full time regular and full-time temporary vacancies.The Purchasing Agent supports the Supply Services group by coordinating and arranging all transportation logistics to achieve a delivery of materials, parts and services. This individual will also conduct cost analysis and resolve any receiving and billing discrepancies. We are looking for someone who is collaborative, someone who enjoys problem solving and has a keen eye for detail. Please note that this position will work on site in Langford/Colwood five days per week.
