Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments. Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments. Co-ordinate traffic flow of supplies. Prepare and maintain progress and other reports. Co-ordinate, assign and review work. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Communicate with ships, aircraft and other remote operations. Follow-up on issues with work orders. Keep track of shipments. Knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practices. Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Prepare purchase orders. Monitor inventory levels of issued materials and stocks. Co-ordinate work activities with other departments. Prepare reports.
