Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Assess clients' cognitive, social and emotional barriers to establish adaptation goals. Assess people's physical limitations, orientation abilities and mobility to establish client rehabilitation. Assist students to develop life skills. Collaborate with specialists to develop programs for clients' special needs. Develop individualized education and intervention plans based on special needs of client to facilitate their readaptation and independence objectives. Supervise office and volunteer staff. Target audience: Children. Persons who are intellectually impaired. Persons with learning disabilities. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Does not require Canadian work experience. Support for mature workers: Applies hiring policies that discourage age discrimination . Supports for visible minorities: Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities (for example: anonymizing the hiring process, etc.).- LocationOshawa, ON
