Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery. Clean and maintain work space. Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes. Testing equipment and methods: Visual inspection. Equipment and machinery experience: Filing machines. Milling machines. Sawing machine. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Resourcefulness. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
