Teacher for Early Childhood Education (ECE) Burnaby North Secondary <p>As one of the largest, most progressive and diverse urban districts in the province, Burnaby provides comprehensive educational programs and services to a diverse population of 25,000 full-time and 17,000 part-time learners. The district operates 41 elementary and 8 secondary schools, plus a number of additional facilities and district programs. <p>Burnaby School District invites applications from qualified Teachers for a temporary part-time position at Burnaby North Secondary, teaching 3 blocks of Early Childhood Education (ECE). <p>Required Teacher Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree or academic equivalent in an appropriate field of study;<p> A relevant methodology course<p> A valid BC Teaching Certificate<p> Knowledge of a broad range of effective instructional strategies in order to meet the diverse needs of all students;<p> Knowledge of consultative and collaborative strategies; and<p> Recent, successful, substantive teaching or practicum experience in the relevant grade levelECE Qualifications ECE Certification<p> Relevant experience in ECE programsApplication Details :<p>Your application should include your resume, cover letter, a copy of your BC Teachers' Certificate, a copy of your transcripts, a copy of your final practicum report, and a statement of your philosophy.
