Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged. Tasks: Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables. Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs. Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware. Place dishes in storage area. Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas. Handle and store cleaning products. Serve meal trays and feed patients. Answer call signals to determine patients' needs. Administer first aid in emergency situations. Perform other duties related to personal care. Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Standing for extended periods. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Reliability. Team player. Initiative.
