Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work site environment: Corrections. Work setting: Half-way house. Tasks: Administrative and office activities. Housekeeping activities. Provide suicide and crisis intervention. Resolve conflict situations. Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses. Supervision: 16-20 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate. First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Security and safety: Enhanced reliability security clearance. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Work under pressure. Attention to detail. Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs). Personal suitability: Accurate. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Interpersonal awareness.
