<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>Our Burlington client is looking for Accounts Receivable / Credit Control Personnel.</p><p><strong>Job Type:</strong></p><ul><li>Part Time</li><li>Day Shift</li></ul><p><strong>Location:</strong></p><ul><li>Reliable Transportation Required | Bus accessible</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p><ul><li>$28.00/hr.</li></ul><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>The Accounts Receivable/Credit Control is an integral member of the accounting team, which requires an understanding of the industry and the bridging of the gap between sales & accounting. Ongoing communication is essential in this position, and it is important that all major decisions involve the Controller as well as other affiliated persons.</p><p>The Accounts Receivable/Credit Control performs direct verbal and written communication with customers, Sales manager and the Controller and this would usually involve coordinating information from relevant persons.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Process <span class="long-word">invoices/production,</span> prototypes, tooling</li><li>Process credit memos</li><li>Bank preparation and deposit</li><li>Cash application</li><li>Credit checks/management</li><li>Customer set-up and maintenance</li><li>Customer service and collection calls</li><li>Maintenance of all A/R files</li><li>Shipping issues (correction of posted shipments in Navision)</li><li>Customer correspondences</li><li>Days outstanding reports</li><li>Monitoring shipped not invoiced reports</li></ul><p><strong>Performance Measurement Based on Goals and Objectives</strong></p><ul><li>Timely preparation of information coupled with open communication of the ability to meet deadlines</li><li>Self-initiative to provide appropriate information to controller, with necessary detail.</li><li>Well organized, accurate and properly formatted information.</li><li>Ability to coordinate information flow appropriately through the proper channels</li><li>Documentation and maintenance of customer information or that related to.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>A minimum of 2 years industry experience and accounting education (BA)</li><li>Good written and oral communication skills.</li><li>Well demonstrated leadership and problem-solving techniques.</li><li>Sound Computer skills within accounting software and familiarity in excel & word software</li><li>Must acquire at least 16 hrs if continuing education specifically relating to job requirements per year.</li></ul></div>Company Description<div>3PL Inc. specializes in the temporary and permanent placement of Industrial, Skilled Trades and Administrative personnel. <br><br>3PL Inc. has a solid foundation within the personnel industry with over 50 years of hands on industry experience<br><br>Our team has built a reputation we are proud of and is committed to matching candidates with employers that best match their personal career goals<br><br>Located in Hamilton, ON, 3PL Inc. is currently partnered with employers seeking candidates across the Golden Horseshoe and the GTA including Niagara, Grimsby, Brantford, Stoney Creek, Hamilton, Burlington and Oakville<br><br>3PL Inc. is committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible environment, where all employees and customers feel valued, respected and supported.
