*Description: *At *Developing Hands* Pediatric and Family Services, we are committed to providing the highest quality of care to children and their families. Developing Hands has been servicing the community for over *14 years* as leaders in providing Therapy to children and their families across Ontario. Our *multidisciplinary* team of exceptional Therapists are dedicated to fulfilling their passions for enhancing children?s functional performance and independence in everyday activities. We provide a *holistic* family centered approach for all services offered. At Developing Hands we strive to offer a supportive and positive environment for *Service Providers* on the team.
As a *Social Worker* at Developing Hands Pediatric Therapy, the successful candidate will be responsible for administering treatment and consultation for *children,* *adolescents* and *families* with a variety of diagnoses while adhering to the policies and procedures of the company. Services can be offered, *In-Clinic* (Mississauga) and or *Virtually* (all across Ontario).

*Number of Positions:* 2
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Provide counselling and intervention for children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced or been affected by (depression, anxiety, addiction, family conflict, abuse, domestic violence, loss or grief).
* Manage an assigned caseload and contribute to the quality of care to clients through adherence to the professional standards of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
* Support individuals and families by providing therapy and resources that will support the needs of the client.
* Maintain regular contact with client and or families and keep them informed of treatment plans.
*Qualifications:*
* Master's degree in Social Work or the equivalent;
* Registered with the College of Ontario of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
* Two years of clinical experience working with children through play therapy or other modalities an asset;
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal;
* Well-developed clinical skills within CBT, DBT, EFT, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy..etc;
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting;
