Education: Bachelor's degree. Work setting: Aboriginal band council. Tasks: Ensure that appropriate administrative procedures are followed. Ensure that quality nursing care is provided to patients. Supervise registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and other nursing personnel. Supervisory Experience. Maintain records of treatments given. Consult with clients to determine needs, preferences, safety requirements and purpose of space. Supervision: 3-4 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities. Target audience: Elderly. Area of specialization: Aboriginal or First Nations education. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Vulnerable sector check. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence.
