Education: Bachelor's degree. Social work, other. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Business and/or industry. Rural area. Community service organization. Social and family service agency. Associations and non profit organizations. Tasks: Evaluate the effectiveness of social programs . Supervise other social workers, paid para-professional staff, student trainees and volunteers. Serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team of professionals working with a client group. Apply for social program funding. Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops or symposia. Provide consultation services to government and other organizations. Evaluate the effectiveness of counselling and the patient's outcomes. Supervise professional staff, program leaders and instructors and volunteer staff. Supervision: 5-10 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Membership in a provincial association of social workers. Membership with the Canadian Association of Social Workers (CASW).
