We are dedicated professionals working together to be the best at delivering relevant and timely financial solutions that power the growth of Canadian businesses.<p><span>Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, and reporting to the Head of Credit Execution, Western Canada, the successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, thrive in a dynamic team-based environment and actively participate in a wide variety of complex senior debt lending mandates.<span> </span>Working hours are dictated by portfolio demands under a hybrid work environment with both days in the office and at home. Additionally, occasional travel for client and team meetings will be required.</span></p><p><strong><span><br></span></strong></p><p><strong><span>Your job:</span></strong><span></span></p><ul><li><div>Support National Client Group, Western Canada team members (Execution and Relationship Management) in managing and growing an existing portfolio of relationships (both bilateral & syndicated);</div></li><li><div>Work closely with financial advisors, private equity sponsors and internal banking partners (i.e., derivative hedging, loan syndications, debt capital markets, equity capital markets and investment banking) to perform required due diligence on prospective opportunities;</div></li><li><div>In collaboration with Relationship Managers, negotiate and recommend credit terms & conditions with existing and prospective clients;</div></li><li><div>Perform high-quality credit analysis, deal structuring, underwriting, and documentation review/finalization of existing and new lending opportunities/mandates;</div></li><li><div>Complete financial transaction and borrower risk rating models;</div></li><li><div>Work closely with Credit Risk Management to authorize and close transactions in accordance with the Bank?s risk guidelines;</div></li><li><div>Independently manage an assigned portfolio to ensure covenants remain in compliance with agreed upon terms & conditions and that annual reviews are completed in accordance with Bank policies;</div></li><li><div>Work in close collaboration with teammates to ensure that client and collateral files are updated in a timely manner;</div></li><li><div>Serve as a strong resource within the team and assist in developing the competencies of junior team members; and </div></li><li><div>Assist the Head of Credit Execution, Western Canada, as required, in reviewing the credit quality of the National Client Group, Western Canada portfolio.</div></li></ul> <p><strong><span><br></span></strong></p><p><strong><span>Your team</span></strong><span></span></p><p><span>Our team stands out for its excellence in execution, collaboration and transaction delivery with an integrated go-to-market strategy.
