Education: College/CEGEP. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Air conditioned. Work setting: School or educational institution/establishment. Tasks: Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations. Adapt existing illustrations. Assist in developing storyboards for electronic productions such as multimedia, interactive and digital products and television advertising and productions. Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations in order to meet their communications needs. Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations. Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations. Work in a multidisciplinary environment. Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials. Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials. Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives. Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements. Copywrite. Usability testing. Process files and paperwork. Computer and technology knowledge: InDesign. MS Office. Social Media. Adobe Illustrator. Adobe Photoshop. SketchUp. Adobe XD. Area of specialization: User experience design. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Tight deadlines. Own tools/equipment: Computer.
