*Job Summary:*
As an Industrial Mechanic at Nanz Pharma, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment used in the production of pharmaceutical products. Your role will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and complies with industry standards and regulations. You will be instrumental in performing regular inspections, carrying out repairs, and managing equipment to maintain optimal performance. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to safety standards and industry regulations, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
*Job Responsibilities:*
* *Maintenance and Repair:* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
* *Troubleshooting*: Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
* *Installation:* Install new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper set-up and operation.
* *Compliance:* Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards, including OSHA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
* *Documentation:* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
* *Inventory Management:* Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and tools.
* *Emergency Response:* Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform necessary repairs promptly.
* *Collaboration:* Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth production processes.
*Job Requirements:*
* *Education:* High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
* *Experience:* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a pharmaceutical or similar regulated environment.
* *Skills:* Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* *Knowledge:* Familiarity with GMP, OSHA regulations, and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.
* *Physical Ability:* Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
* *Certifications:* Relevant certifications such as *Industrial Mechanic Millwright *are a plus.
* *Communication: *Good communication skills to interact with team members and document activities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.55-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
