Education: Bachelor's degree. Tasks: Assess requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased. Develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased. Determine contract terms and conditions. Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization. Negotiate rates and terms. Monitor and adjust contract expenditures. Manage contracts. Inspect and evaluate material and equipment for compliance to standards. Establish and maintain contact with suppliers. Establish and implement policies and procedures. Conduct performance reviews. Assist in analysis of data and preparation of reports. Monitor and inspect quality of material produced. Manage the operations of a department providing several administrative services. Coordinate construction activities to ensure compliance with established building specifications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Membership in the Supply Chain Management Association of Canada. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Word. MS Office. MS Excel. MS Outlook.
