Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Pave and rake asphalt. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Perform routine maintenance work. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Handling heavy loads. Hand-eye co-ordination. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Accurate. Dependability. Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Reliability. Team player. Hardworking. Screening questions: Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
