Education: Bachelor's degree. Work setting: Private school. Willing to relocate. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Tasks: Attend educational conferences and workshops. Discuss results and students' progress with them, their parents and school officials. Evaluate and document students' progress . Participate in educational conferences and teacher training workshops. Participate in staff meetings. Supervise teaching assistants and train student teachers. Assign and correct homework. Develop course content. Identify childrens' individual learning needs. Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help. Prepare subject material for presentation according to an approved curriculum. Prepare, administer and correct tests. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Emergency child care first aid and CPR. Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.- LocationCalgary, AB
