Job details
Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Fixed Assets and Maintenance and receiving task assignments from the Maintenance Planner, the Plumber performs a wide variety of plumbing tasks as it relates to large and small event set-up and teardown, building plumbing, heating and HVAC maintenance, repair, upgrades, and decommissioning. A significant portion of time will be spent servicing and repairing washroom plumbing, hot water heating systems, and RO water system. Other items may include but not limited to are boiler related items and HVAC. Work takes place in any one of 10 buildings and outdoors contained within the 101-acre site operated by REAL. Most work takes place indoors, however working outdoors is required from time to time. Requirements:Must have a Journeypersons Plumber License.Refrigeration Engineer certificate is an asset.Firemans or 5th Class Power Engineering certificate is an asset.First Aid CertificateFall Protection CertificateMobile Elevated Platform CertificateUnderstand plumbing terms, materials, methods, tools, and equipment used in the inspection, repair, installation, service, and maintenance of building plumbing systems.Working knowledge of National Plumbing Code of Canada and how it pertains to commercial plumbing
