Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Pharmacy or drugstore. Tasks: Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate. Enter client information in databases. Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products. Maintain prescription records . Prepare medications for clients. Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products. Bill third party insurers. Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams. Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Pharmacy technician Certification.
