We are currently seeking candidates for the following position at our Site C project in Fort St. John, BC.</span></span></p> <p><br> <span><span><b>HSE Manager (Day shift)</b></span></span> <span><span><b> </b></span><br> <span>Fort St-John, British Columbia</span></span></p> <p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><b>Position Type:</b> Full-Time - Day shift - Temporary mandate (</span></span></span></span></span></span><span><span><span><span>?</span></span></span></span><span><span><span><span><span><span>9 months)</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p> <p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><b>Annual Pay Range</b>: $115,000 - 135,000 </span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><span><span><span><span>Responsibilities:</span></span></span></span></span></span></p> <ul> <li><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>Act as the subject matter expert for all general health, safety and environmental site issues as part of a three-person rotating HSE team.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>Ensuring the coordination of the various tasks during the pre-mobilization, mobilization, commissioning, demobilization phases of the Site C project.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>Ensure the implementation and monitoring of all local and provincial regulatory requirements, customer frames, prevention and HSE system plans (Voith and client) and work processes to ensure smooth running of sites under his responsibility.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>Develop safe work practices specific to the site by using best practices of other Voith sites.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>Participate in the</span></span></span></span><span><span><span> development, implementation and monitoring of safety training programs for Voith site employees and personnel according to the corporate guidelines.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>Ensure that works conducted at site by Voith staff, union workers and sub suppliers proceed as per applicable regulations.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>Establish a climate of collaboration with various parties at site, Voith Hydro representatives, our workers, subcontractors and client.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>Act as a resource for managers, supervisors and site personnel on Health and Safety policies, procedures and practices.</spa
