Applications are invited to apply for teaching positions available at Victoria Linklater Memorial School during the 2024-2026 academic cycle in the North Spirit Lake First Nation. <p>We are currently seeking versatile, dynamic individuals for the following elementary teaching positions;<p> <p>Elementary Classroom Teachers (3)<p> <p>Qualifications: <p>Bachelor of Education Degree or equivalent recognized by the Ontario College of Teachers<p>Candidates should have.. <p>Knowledge of evidenced based and current instructional practices for individuals and groups.<p>Ability to apply effective measurement and data collection strategies for the assessment for/as/of student learning<p>Knowledge of human behavior, individual differences in ability, personality and interests<p>Knowledge and awareness of group behavior and dynamics<p>Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team<p>Sensitivity and awareness of First Nation cultures and identities<p> <p>Salary and Remuneration: <p>Salary will be based on experience and qualifications, we encourage the submission of a QECO evaluation<p>Salary range- $75,000 (0 years exp) to $120,000 (10+ years exp) with semi annual bonus, remote and northern enhancements<p>Travel costs to and from the community are 100% covered<p>The North Spirit Lake Education Authority strives to engage students both in the classroom and out.
