Establish and implement policies and procedures. Inspect spills of hazardous chemicals or products. Oversee the classification and rating of occupations. Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards. Investigate workplace accidents or illnesses. Oversee development of communication strategies. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Oversee the preparation of reports. Advise senior management. Respond to employee questions and complaints. Evaluate work environments, programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury.
