We support the entire individual, providing diverse specialty programming that inspires and develops each student, while maintaining caring schools that make our youth feel safe, secure, and accepted.<p>Sturgeon Public Schools is currently recruiting a Temporary Part-Time Finance Clerk to work at Four Winds School. The Finance Clerk will aid with the fiscal operations of the school for accounts payable and accounts receivable. Reporting to the Principal, this role contributes to the day-to-day financial operations of the school to ensure effective and responsive delivery.<p>The duties of this role include but are not limited to: Add, collect and apply school fees to student accounts<p> Create bank deposits and take funds to the bank<p> Code and enter invoices into Invoice Entry Web<p> Collect, code and enter credit card expenses<p> Assist school staff with finance related questions<p> Maintain financial records for the schoolsThe successful candidate requires a high school diploma. Post secondary education in Accounting or one year work experience in a related field is preferred. Good interpersonal skills, professional etiquette and strong computer skills are required. A valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle is required, as public transportation is not available.<p>The hours of work for this position is approximately 13 hours per week, depending on the requirements. The rate of pay for this 10-month position is between $18.82 and $23.57, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.<p>ABOUT STURGEON PUBLIC SCHOOLS <p>Sturgeon Public Schools prides itself on doing things a little differently.
