This role will provide significant support administering and responding to Freedom of Information access to records and routine release requests, providing advice on information and privacy matters, drafting Privacy Impact Assessments and Information Sharing Agreements, and providing professional support to the corporate records management program. This position is best suited for someone passionate about applying privacy principles in a public body and who enjoys interpreting and applying established policies and legislated requirements. We are seeking an individual who can confidently and professionally work with diverse clientele within established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will work independently and exercise sound judgment, work efficiently under pressure with competing tasks to firm legislated deadlines, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, manage confidential and sensitive information, and maintain collaborative relationships.Our Preferred Candidate:The preferred candidate will have three years of sound related experience in a local government or other government environment and at least one year of post-secondary courses in Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy, records management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
