The Speech Language Pathologist supports students with communication disorders through direct service and program development, within the Planning Process, through the provision of specialized knowledge and skills. Qualifications required: Masters Degree in Human Communication Disorders or acceptable equivalent; Eligibility for full membership in Nova Scotia College of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (NSCASLP); Special Certificate from the Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, Office of Teacher Certification; Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelor of Education and relevant teaching experience. HRCE offers: Approximate ratio of SLP/students 1:1200 Competitive salary Hours ranging from 8:00 - 4:00 depending on the school Mixture of 10-month and 12-month contracts are available Mileage reimbursement Please refer to job description for further details.
