Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Community service organization. Social service or charity agency. Tasks: Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs. Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand. Package take-out food. Portion and wrap foods. Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs. Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment. Handle and store cleaning products. Remove kitchen garbage and trash. Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit. Serve food and beverages. Record transactions. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Maintain stock rotation. Enforce regulations to maintain order and resolve conflicts and to monitor establishment activities. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Safe Food Handling certificate. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods.
