<p>MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR BUILDING AUTOMATION SYSTEMS <p>Salary<p>Range - $81,116 - $101,390 per year <p>1.0 FTE Permanent<p>The Simcoe County District School Board is seeking<p>qualified applicants for the position of Maintenance Supervisor Building<p>Automation Systems. Reporting to the Manager Maintenance & Environmental<p>Services, the Supervisor will be responsible for achieving optimal energy<p>performance of HVAC systems through the installation, modification, operation<p>and maintenance of building automation systems and equipment, identification of<p>variances from performance benchmarks, and correction of operational inefficiencies<p>through the appropriate repair, replacement, commissioning and re-commissioning<p>of mechanical/electrical building systems and components in all Board schools<p>and facilities in keeping with Facility Services operating and capital budgets.<p>This may include the need to attend and resolve emergency or urgent situations<p>outside of regular working hours. Qualifications and Skills Required: <p> <p>Certificate of<p>Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical trade, or three (3) year college<p>diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Systems Technology or equivalent;<p> <p>Five (5) years related<p>experience in the areas of HVAC and building automation systems design,<p>installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting;<p> <p>Two (2) years supervisory<p>experience, preferably in a public sector unionized environment;<p> <p>Knowledge of programming<p>for building automation systems;<p> <p>Experience in energy<p>conservation retrofits and re-commissioning of HVAC systems to correct<p>operational inefficiencies and optimize energy performance;<p> <p>Knowledge of applicable<p>building codes and regulatory requirements related to mechanical building<p>systems installation and maintenance;<p> <p>Excellent understanding<p>and working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems;<p> <p>Computer literacy and<p>ability to work with a variety of computer software programs, such as MS Word,<p>MS Excel, Outlook, MS Teams;<p> <p>Leadership and conflict resolution<p>skills;<p> <p>Excellent oral and written<p>communication skills;<p> <p>Excellent organizational<p>and time management skills;<p> <p>The successful candidate<p>must possess a valid drivers licence;<p> <p>The nature of this<p>position will require the successful candidate to service large geographical<p>areas.<p>TESTING<p>MAY BE REQUIRED DURING THE SELECTION PROCESS. This is a full-time<p>permanent position. The regular work year for this position is twelve (12)<p>months of the year. The compensation range for this twelve (12) month position<p>is $81,116 to $101,390 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.<p>This position is based on a thirty-five (35) hour work week. Participation in the OMERS Pension Plan is mandatory for all<p>full-time permanent employees, <p>even if currently in receipt of an OMERS pension.
