As of June 30, 2024, TDAM and its affiliates manage over $434 billion in assets on behalf of pension, insurance, endowment/foundation, and corporate clients, as well as high-net worth clients and retail mutual funds.In attaining this client commitment, TDAM has built one of Canada's largest and most respected investment management and research teams with more than 220 Portfolio Managers, Associate Portfolio Managers, Traders and Analysts.The Associate on our Global Fund Operations team will be expected to:Develop a deep understanding of the alternative investment strategies to perform robust portfolio analytics and reportingUse a variety of in-house developed and vendor-supported applications (including Yardi Voyager and Argus Enterprise) to support portfolio analyticsDevelop and maintain dashboards to provide business insightsConduct detailed analysis of appraisals for key drivers of valuation changesComplete performance analysis of the assets in the portfolios including attribution analysis and analyzing actual results against forecastProcess funding requests and work with asset managers and corporate lawyers to document transactionsPreparation of internal and external reportingAssist with data collection, validation and analysisDevelop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersJob RequirementsWe are looking for a person who is team-oriented and passionate, meticulous in their work, detail-oriented, has a proven record of completing tasks with high-quality results, excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical, and multi-tasking skills, and the ability to function in a fast-paced team environment.This individual will work independently as well as in a team environment within a high-performing culture and under tight deadlines.The successful candidate will hold a Finance or Business degree, CFA or CAIA designation or working towards a designation, and 3-5 years of related experience.Relevant work experience would be an asset, including knowledge of alternative investments.
