Work site environment: Interior. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Prepare engineering designs and drawings. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Develop and prepare design sketches. Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates. Estimate costs and materials. Complete documentation packages and drawing sets. Examine drawings for conformity and errors. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervision: 16-20 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : SOLIDWORKS Certification. Steel detailing Certification. Drafting Trade Certification. Computer and technology knowledge: SolidWorks software. Website creation and management software. Area of work experience: Fabrication. Specialization or experience: 3D Modeling. Area of specialization: Industrial design. Mechanical. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Ear plugs. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Organized. Team player. Efficient interpersonal skills.
