Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Various locations. Relocation costs covered by employer. Tasks: Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress. Read blueprint, schemas and drawings. Plan and manage budgets. Supervise workers and projects. Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions. Recommend personnel actions. Prepare production and other reports. Establish methods to meet work schedules. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Co-ordinate and schedule activities. Requisition materials and supplies. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations. Supervision: Working groups. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Personal suitability: Team player.
