Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Remote or mobile. Tasks: Assess potential institutional, business or individual client markets. Ensure appropriate forms, medical examinations and other policy requirements are completed. Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries. Provide customer service. Provide information concerning group and individual insurance packages, the range of risk coverage, benefits paid and other policy features. Sell automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft and other types of insurance. Identify and solicit potential clients. Supervision: No supervision responsibility. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) licence. Insurance experience: Life insurance products. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Tight deadlines. Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Own tools/equipment: Computer. Internet access. Cellular phone.
