Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio. Tasks: Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences. Provide custom hair and scalp treatment. Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages. Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair. Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair. Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences. Hair styling techniques: Blow drying. Iron waving/curling. Permanents. Hair colouring techniques: Bleach. Dyes/tints. Frosting. Streaking/highlights. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
